Health, environment and safety objectives
Introduction
Etm4u's aim with the HSE work is to create safety and security in the work for its own employees and the environment so that there are no accidents, losses or damage to people, the environment or material. We must protect the environment and health, and fulfill the objectives and requirements set out in the "Regulations for internal control".
All HSE documentation is available electronically and is easily accessible to all our employees.
Principles
Etm4u's HSE policy has been drawn up as a basis for the HSE work that will take place in the company. The HSE policy is drawn up by the management in agreement with the employees. The HSE policy expresses the importance of health, environment and safety in the company's daily operations, and is an obligation that the company's management and employees must live up to in their daily work. We work continuously to reduce the risk at all levels and the company aims to satisfy the demands society places on us in a safe and environmentally friendly way.
The management and all employees must at all times have the necessary competence so that consideration for safety and the environment becomes a natural part of our business.
Organization and distribution of responsibilities
The overall responsibility for the HSE work rests with the management of Etm4u. At the same time, each employee has their individual responsibility for HSE in the company. All employees in Etm4u are responsible for keeping up-to-date on the most recently revised HSE documentation that applies to their work area.
Deviations/Error handling
It is important that it is clearly stated how unwanted incidents, near misses and other objectionable conditions are handled. Deviations are reported to the immediate manager or safety representative. Errors are corrected and prevented for the future. Proposals for measures are prepared.
Revision
The company's HSE work is audited once a year. The company's manager and safety representative must carry out a thorough review to investigate whether:
The HSE targets can be reached
The HSE requirements are met
The HSE work is carried out as planned
The HSE manual and the HSE routines need updating and simplification
The results of the audit are reported to the board, management team and employees. A plan must then be drawn up for further work on adjusting routines and updating the manual.
